Amity University in Tashkent was established by the decision of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PQ-4097 of January 7, 2019, and it has been operating since 2019.

Today, "Amity Education Group" includes 11 universities, apart from India, there are 25 schools and 16 international campuses in London, Singapore, Dubai, New York, Seattle, San Francisco, Mauritius, China, Abu Dhabi, Amsterdam, Tashkent, South Africa and Romania.

Amity University in Tashkent is the only higher education institution in Central Asia accredited by 2 states:

WASC America accreditation, England QS accreditation.
